How do you value clean air and dark skies over the Grand Canyon?
That was the project that initiated my love to spend my professional life trying to save the world from ourselves through clean energy technology.
When not writing or photographing, I lead large scale commercial projects for energy efficiency and Solar PV/Battery Installation.
To do that, I draw from my extensive experience in a top tier management consulting firms, in entrepreneurship when I owed a business, 20 years in the energy industry, and the hard earned wisdom acquired from working on complex projects with people ranging from the janitors to the CEOs and their Board.
The result: over 100 MW-DC of solar PV installed, retrofit of literally hundreds of thousands of lighting fixtures and streetlights, replacing of aging infrastructure of HVAC, rooftops and installation of EV charging stations. These projects saved my customers million of dollars in energy savings, and resulted in a significant reduction in pollutants.
